Right now Lex and I both work from home and spend a lot of time juggling a complicated system of child care for our kids, which involves help from local family, part time daycare, and an alternate work week schedule at my job. D. is four, A. is one. D. is starting public school (TK) next year.
I take taiko drumming lessons once a week when my schedule allows.
I'm the secretary of the board supervising the kids' preschool.
My husband and I are associate members of the Democratic Party of Sacramento County.
